Godwin saw Wilbraham on the 13, 14 and 15 July 1824, and on the last two occasions at the Crown Office. The reference seems to refer to a Mr Edward Bootle Wilbraham, MP, although there was also an extant George Wilbraham. Godwin’s business with the Crown Office is unclear.
