  • Name: Allinhgam, John (Till)
  • Gender: Male
  • Birth Date: 1775
  • Death Date: 28  February  1812
  • Occupation: playwright

John Till Allingham was a playwright of Irish extraction who had a significant success with Fortune's Frolic (Covent Garden, 1799).

There are two entries, both associated with Mary Robinson. Godwin clearly knew his work and he attended several of his plays. The use of an apostrophe in the first entry suggests that there is more than one Allingham. Allingham did not marry, but his sister was the actress Maria Caroline Allingham (d. 1811). It is possible that this entry includes her.
