  • Name: Angelo, Henry Charles William
  • Gender: Male
  • Birth Date: 1756
  • Death Date: 1835
  • Occupation: fencing master

Angelo inherited his father's fencing academy and taught many famous pupils including Charles James Fox. He was forced to retire in 1817 after an accident while instructing Edward Kean, and his son Henry (1780–1852) took over.

Entries to Angelos prior to 1802 are unlikely to refer Angelo's father, even though he formally bequeathed his son the fencing school on his death in that year, since his father had retired to Eton in 1780. Later entries, hwoever, may refer to Henry Angelo's son Henry Angelo (1780–1852).

Godwin mentions a W Hastings Angelo in 1827, who may have been another son of Henry Charles but that entry has not been coded.
