  • Name: Galloway, Alexander
  • Gender: Male
  • Birth Date: 1776
  • Death Date: 20  November  1847
  • Occupation: radical and engineer

Galloway was active in the LCS and in subsequent radical caiuses and remained involved in Westminster and London politics over a long period. He was closely associated for a period with Francis Place and Paul LeMaitre. Godwin first meets him at Horne Tooke's with Le Maitre and other radicals. There is a long break between 1804 and 1819, but the connections with the Vestry in 1820 suggest this is the same Galloway. Godwin also writes to Galloway on two occasions in 1823. Neither is extant.
