Godwin records his death: the identification of earlier appearances in the diary, in 1798, 1813 and 1821 are more speculative since we lack corroboration. There is also an 1808 entry for Mrs Hutton. The 1821 entry is for 'Huttons' (which might refer to Hutton and his grown children, his second wife having died in 1817). Hutton lived on the south side of the Thames, near Woolwich.
