Godwin records his death, as 'Dr Jones dies'. Earlier references to Dr Jones are assumed to be to this Dr Jones. Jones studies at Hackney with Gilbert Wakefield and Abraham Rees. He moved to London in 1804 and married Rees's daughter. Godwin's references to Jones are mainly in the early 1820s.
