All M Moores 1795-1799 (23) have been coded as Matthew Moore, the political reformer who was part of a secret committee in the London Corresp[onding Society which met to plan a convention in the light of a threat to mobilise Hessian troops against the popular reform movement in 1794. Moore was named in the bill indicting members of the LCS and the Society for Constitutional Information for Treason in 1794 but managed to escape arrest.
