Roberjot, together with his colleagues Ange-Élisabeth-Louis-Antoine Bonnier d'Alco and Jean Debray, was attacked by Hungarian hussars during the negotiations at Rastadt while leaving the town, and Bonnier and Roberjot were killed. Godwin records this in the diary.
