Two days after his death Godwin records, 'Lord Thurlow dies (lately)'. There are two later entries:
15.12.1813: 'Write to Thurlow.'
27.4.1815: 'W Curran calls n ( Thurlow ).'
These are both unclear. They may be refer to Baron Thurlow but we have no further evidence for this. On the other hand, there are no alternative candidates. There is no record of the letter in the Abinger collection
