Samuel Tipper, publisher of Leadenhall Street in London, was proprietor of the London Review, which was conducted by Richard Cumberland. While intended as a Quarterly publication, it appears to have lasted only two isses. Godwin sees him quite frequently in 1810 until the spring of 1812, and then a few times in the early 1820s. Some of Godwin's contacts are to Tipper and Cumberland. Henry Crabb Robinson'sDiary states that Tipper solicited him to write for Cumberland's London Review and also that he dined once with Cumberland at Tipper's.
