It seems possible that Godwin may have corresponded with Lydia Wollstonecraft, Mary's step-mother in 1805-6. There are three entries to L Wt, and it is difficult to see to whom else this might refer, although Edward Bland Wollstonecraft also married a Lydia. The contacts with L Wt are letters, and we have thus far been unable to trace these. Godwin also refers to a young Wollstonecraft at the same time as he corresponds with L Wt. Given that the only issue of Wollstonecrafts of Mary's family seem to be female, and there's no suggestion that young Wt is female, it is possible that this might be a child of Mary's father's second marriage but there is little or nothing about this marriage in biographies of Mary. Wt junr appears three times in 1806: 16 January; 2 and 9 March.
