  • Name: Hunter, Joseph
  • Gender: Male
  • Birth Date: 6  February  1783
  • Death Date: 9  May  1861
  • Occupation: antiquary
  • Occupation: record scholar

Identification is not certain but is likely given shared interests. The two entries are in 1833 and 1834, both connected with an entry for 'Museum', althoughthe latter is more tangential. Hunter moved to London in 1833 and became involved in the use and organisation of government records.

There is, however, no evidence in the Hunter Archaelogical Society that points to a relationship with Godwin.
