Godwin has relatively intense contact with Andrew Picken in 1832 and 1833 before his sudden death in 1833, and he is associated with him through Pickersgill's circle. The existence of a number of 'Picken' entries after his death refer to Mrs Pickens and to her son Andrew, an artist who would have independent reasons for remaining close to the Pickersgill circle.
