  • Name: Wedgwood, Josiah
  • Gender: Male
  • Birth Date: 12  July  1730
  • Death Date: 3  January  1795
  • Occupation: master potter

Godwin established a friendship with the Wedgwood family, including the potter Josiah (1730–1795) and two of his surviving sons, Josiah II and Thomas (1771–1805). For full details see entry on Thomas. The evidence suggests that most of the contact with the family was through Thomas, until his death in 1805, when Josiah jr., becomes the sole point of contact - Josiah Sr (this person) having died in 1795.
